About NMAT Exam

The NMAT By GMAC is the primary aptitude test for admission to SVKM’s NMIMS – for all three campuses (Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad) and a host of other institutes. Among the major entrance tests conducted annually, NMAT is the only test that allows a student upto three attempts, and treats the best-of-three score for admissions.

It is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), which also administers the GMAT.

NMAT is a computer-based test spread over two hours. It can be considered a combination of a speed and accuracy test.
It is the only test with No  negative marking  and sectional timings .

The student can re-take the test at least 15 days after the first attempt.

NMAT Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university with a minimum of 50 % aggregate.
  • Students in their final year of the bachelors can also apply for the exam.
  • Candidates with two or more years of work experience will be preferred for admissions into all full-time programs.
